Brian is a delight to work with and is also very proficient in his work. We have been aware of them for a long time as Evergreen/Silver Creek area experts, so when we started living Bi-Coastal life in New York City, we got in touch with Brian to explore the possibilities of selling our house in San Jose, when we ever we are ready to do so. We first got in touch with Brian in
August 2021 but decided to not sell and we did the right thing by not doing so as the market jumped almost 20% to 25% within 8 or 9 months. When we got in touch with Brian in March 2022, he was very prompt in responding. Still, we wanted to be sure that we are doing the right thing by going with Brian so we talked to 3 other real estate agents all supposed to be the leading agents in San Jose. After talking to each of them we found Brian to be not only well aware of the Evergreen area but also the most realistic in terms of setting the asking price on the house. All the other agents promised big in order to land the listing telling us that they will be able to sell our house at $1.7M but even though Zillow was showing that price, I was not convinced that we can get that price because the last house with exactly same configuration sold in the community in August 2021 was at $1.27M. Only Brian told us to set the asking price below $1.5M and told us that he can get us $100K more on top but he was very clear that we need to list it sooner than later. We moved our date to fly back to San Jose on March 28th. Brian came to check the house and after talking with us he agreed to put the house on the market without making any changes or doing any staging. He never tried to take more out of us by selling us anything in terms of making changes. He called his cleaning crew to clean the property and asked his photographer to not only take the pics but also create a virtual 3-D tour. He promptly put the house on the market on April 6th, ordered outside signs, and conducted an open house on the weekend. The response as he suggested had slowed down from March 2022 but we were still able to get two offers after the first open house. He worked with both the buyers to get us the max and as promised he was able to score $100K over the asking price at $1.6M. Brian worked with us to close the escrow fast on May 13th, 2022. He responded quickly to our queries and worked with the buyer agent to make the Escrow close seamlessly. It was a great experience working with Brian and we wholeheartedly recommend his services.
